The American diet lacks in nutrition. Even if we are being impeccable with organic whole foods, hormone-free/antibiotic free meats, we are just not getting what we once were because the soil has been stripped of its nutrients due to overuse of the land. Because of this, there are certain supplements that are smart to take as a preventative and to keep your body balanced and feeling great! The goal for me with my patients isn’t just to be symptom-free…it is to reach a state of health and vitality. Then when you experience stress, challenges, and fear (life will certainly hand this to us), you don’t crash…you just know you are slightly off and up your sleep, water, nutrition, etc.
When your body is completely out of balance, often you will need more supplements to get you back in balance, help with deficiencies, and assist your body with making specific chemicals for better efficiency and communication.
